We stayed 2 nights on our way to Iowa this weekend. Location off 80 was perfect. Staff was for the most part very accommodating and pleasant! Kathy went out of her way to help us with an issue in our room, offered other options and also offered to move us to another room if we wanted. She was training another staff member, Sabrina who was very sweet, and showed great care in how to respond to customer issues. Glad we chose American and will stay again when in the area.

This hotel is perfect for me! The air in the room had no scent and was very fresh. The air conditioning worked great even when it was 93 degrees. The bed is super comfortable. Staff was fantastic! I needed help opening personal items a few times. She was so kind and warm. I enthusiastically recommend this hotel!

The rooms are always clean. The staff is always professional. Just a great place to stay.

This is a great place to stay. The pool was wonderful, they had a good breakfast every day and I loved that it is smoke free hotel. The snacks sold in the lobby is a nice touch as well!! Every staff member was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back!

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and always find it nice and extremely clean. We love the 2 room suite! It's really nice to have those two separate rooms, both which have their own TV. The staff is always friendly and quickly responds to our needs. Kathy and Heather have been extremely welcoming! We will be going there again soon.

I had a great stay at the American Inn in Princeton, IL. The room was very clean and had plenty of electrical outlets, which made it convenient to charge all of our devices. The TV was a decent size, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable, so we slept well. The staff were welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, which really made a positive impression. The pool and hot tub area were very nice and well-kept — definitely a highlight. The free breakfast was about what you would expect for a hotel in this price range. My only downside was the eggs, which seemed to be the instant type and weren’t my favorite. Otherwise, everything was solid. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would consider staying here again.

Of course I wish it was a little bit farther away from the interstate but it's relatively quiet on the side opposite of the interstate. For reference I wore earplugs, slept great. Breakfast was good, it's the typical Wyndham breakfast items, including eggs. They have some kind of on demand coffee machine at this location and the coffee is not good.

We booked our reservation in the afternoon here. Upon arriving the front desk woman was so very nice. Shortly after we checked in we were told that there were some issues going on with the motor to the pool and that it was down at the moment.. So that was disappointing at first because it was one of the main reasons we booked. However, the gentleman running this Hotel did an awesome job getting that pool back up and running maybe took him about 30-40 minutes. He literally saved the night with this one here! His communication was awesome about the whole process. The room was very clean and the beds were super cozy. They offer a vending area to get snack and food and the front desk woman helped us and was very very kind and it was really convenient. The morning breakfast they served was very hot and fresh. With lots of different options to choose from. The check out was very easy and fast they also offer you the option to check out on your phone. Overall building was very nice and clean and appealing to the eye. Also right off of the I80 interstate. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
